He is wise, fatigued, honorable, and respected. His mind and body carry the stories of his people, and the rhythms of the world around him. The dark shadows of the left side of his face blend into the shadows of his headdress, creating drama and mystery. The white feathers of his headdress surround his face like a frame, accented by the blue band nearest his forehead and the golden yellow feathers that fall around his neck. Drips of paint fall down his face bringing the viewer’s attention to fall upon his sober countenance.
