Blue Ridge Sunrays

Blue Ridge Sunrays is landscape painting of the Appalachian Mountains in autumn by Kent Paulette.  Sunbeams shine through the clouds and onto the Blue Ridge Mountains.  This original art depicts an nature scene will fall colors such as orange and yellow leaves.  There are also green pine trees and green hills in the foreground.  The clouds are dark so there could be rain or a storm in the distance but the light peaks through.  The mountains are purple and blue.  Paulette used a circular sponge to paint the little dots throughout this vibrant and inspirational outdoor mountain art.  The style of this artwork has elements of Impressionism in it.  He then finished this painting using a 2-inch wide flat brush in September 2016.
